  Search Foundation:

The "Superior Educational Achievement is Russell County's Hope Foundation" was granted 501 (c) (3) status on November 10, 2003.

Its Mission:

The SEARCH Foundation is a nonprofit organization to promote academic excellence in the Russell County schools. It is our mission to enhance the quality of education by (1) improving teacher morale, (2) encouraging more effective instruction, (3) strengthening student motivation, and (4) increasing community involvement and support.

The SEARCH Foundation will provide mini-grants on a yearly basis to school district employees based on submitted grants applications. The Foundation will fully support the Program Recognizing Individuals Dedicated to Education, also known as the PRIDE Program.  The PRIDE Program is sponsored by CB&T of Russell County, which includes, recognition of teachers, support personnel, students and volunteers in the Russell County School District. The SEARCH Foundation will also support the Teachers of the Year Program, as well as support community activities and involvement.
