Ways to be involved in your child’s education:

- Promote a positive image of Russell County Schools throughout the community

- Work with small groups in classroom

- Assist with field trips

- Plant flowers and maintain landscaping

- Join PTA

- Help with special events (i.e. Harvest Festival, Labor Day Family Fun Day, etc.)

- Send items for special projects and celebrations

- Read with and/or listen to your child read daily

- Establish an on-going line of communication with your child’s teacher

- Be willing to participate in the education of your child

- Ask the school "What can I do to help?"
