On behalf of the students, faculty, staff and administration of the Russell County School District I am delighted to welcome you to our web site. Russell County School District provides a comprehensive instructional program for students in grades K-12. We take pride in valuing the educational needs of every child. Our school system consists of five elementary schools, a middle school, a high school and an alternative learning center. 
 

Russell County School District believes that all children can learn and shall be provided daily opportunities that accommodate the learning style of each individual child. We believe that each individual should have an equal opportunity to pursue an education in a supportive, safe and nurturing environment. Children deserve to have safe and disciplined schools, a challenging curriculum, effective teachers and quality leaders.
