Welcome:
Welcome to Dixie Elementary School, “the best elementary school” in
Russell County. Our entire staff is hard working and takes great pride
in our achievements. Last year we met all of our Annual Yearly Goals and
tied for the highest academically rated elementary school. As you visit
our campus and classrooms, you will see new construction, a clean and
well maintained facility, a staff that is continually teaching, and
students working hard to achieve academic success.
As a parent you can be assured that your child is receiving a quality
education in a safe environment. Our success is a team effort that
includes you as a stakeholder in our school. Our expectation for your
child is for him/her to reach his/her fullest potential both
academically and socially. We will need a team effort between home and
school to be successful. We will do our best as administrators and
teachers in communicating with you to ensure your child’s success.
We encourage you to come by, volunteer to help with one of our events,
visit our classrooms, and become active in your child’s education.
