Experience: Member of Russell County Board of Education since 2002, Administrative Assistant to the County Administrator from November 1999 to February 2002. Administrative Assistant to Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Superintendent of Russell County Schools from January 1996 to November 1999. School Secretary at Dixie Elementary School from August 1995 to January 1996. School Secretary at Ladonia Elementary School from August 1987 to August 1995.
Additional Information: Married to Fort Elliott for 35 years. Three children and their spouses: David and Jennifer Elliott, Ben and Kimberly Elliott and Amy and Grant Carpenter. Four grandchildren: Abby and Avery Carpenter, Libby Elliott, Brandon Elliott and a fifth grandchild (grandson) who will be born around the end of March or the 1st of April.
Member of the Alabama Association of School Boards (AASB), Ladonia PTA, Russell County High School PTA, Russell County Building and Planning Commission, Russell County Recreation Committee and Russell County Personnel Review Board.
